About the event

In 1992, their conductor, Dale Reuss founded the Southshore Concert Band for the purpose of providing a musical outlet for area adult musicians who wished to continue performing in a concert band environment.  The Band performs in residence at Lake Michigan College and has become a significant musical organization in Southwest. An acknowledged premier regional band, they never fail to please.

We are thrilled to have this impressive band return to help us celebrate the Flag Day weekend.  As they did last year, the band will perform on the grass rather than in the gazebo to enable the 60 plus musicians to be seated to perform safely.

While some of the musicians have changed, the band is also celebrating its 25th year at Music in the Park!

Music In the Park is a free concert series held at 6:30 pm every Saturday during the summer in Dewey Cannon Park, downtown Three Oaks. Most concerts are 60 minutes long with 90 minute performances noted on the schedule.

Music in the Park is located in Three Oaks, Michigan 1/2 a block East of Elm Street at the Railroad tracks. For information contact Harbor Arts at: info@HarborArts.com

We are so excited to be celebrating our 26th season of Music in the Park! Our sincere thank you to all of our patrons and sponsors who are making it possible for us to continue these programs! Music in the Park would not be possible without your generous donations.  Please see our sponsor tab and let your friends and local businesses know that you also appreciate their support.

We are working with our local radio station, WRHC to broadcast as many of the performances as possible.  The safety of our performers, volunteers and patrons continue to be our number one priority.  Please check our website regularly for the most current information and any changes to the schedule.
